Ilaria Nanni is a lawyer with a degree in law from the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna. She has been working with Studio Legale Stefanelli & Stefanelli since 2020, dealing mainly with civil and corporate law.


Within the Stefanelli Law Firm, she assists companies in activities such as civil litigation, commercial and healthcare contracts, and credit recovery against private individuals and Public Administrations.

Since 2021, Ms Nanni has also assisted, together with Ms Lenzi, in the area of intellectual and industrial property, supporting companies in the registration of trademarks and distinctive signs and national and international litigation.

Since December 2023, she has also been part of "Risk and Compliance 231 in the Healthcare" department.

Towards a new era in data management in Europe

In the digital age, data management and regulation are crucial issues at national and European level.

In this article, we will examine three important European regulations that aim to provide a new framework for data governance:

  • Regulation (EU) 2022/868 on European data governance (DGA - Data Governance Act),
  • the proposal for Regulation COM (2022) 68 (the so-called Data Act) concerning harmonised rules on fair access and use of data, and
  • the proposal for Regulation COM (2022) 197 on the European Health Data Space (EHDS).

Medical APP development on commission: transferring source and executive files

Medical devices (MD) are increasingly software, either stand-alone or incorporated into other products or devices. Software development is frequently entrusted by the MD manufacturer to a third party, a service provider; the relationship is governed by a contract that in many cases only regulates the economic aspects of the relationship without taking into account the regulation of the intellectual or industrial property of the software.
